Lemo's Farm

We went to Lemo's Farm today for a birthday party for Allison and Brenden Yeh. Lemo's is in Half Moon Bay- near the coast. It was really fun- we got to go in the petting zoo- Linden does not care for goats, by the way... we went on a train ride around the farm, we even got to hop around in the hopper together! Linden loves to jump and bounce when she can. She picked out the cutest pumpkin and a big one for the house. It was perfect weather and Brett and I made a comment that a few October's ago we were in sweaters and scarves back in Chicago! It's beautiful here in the Fall.

13 months today

Bruno's new master

Linden definatley knows how much she can do and not do to Bruno. I think he knows that she has all the power- and now she's found the "Bruno drawer" and pulls out his treats to taunt him. It's a pretty funny thing to watch. But Bruno has officially tipped the scale at 10 pounds! He's getting a little more than crumbs from standing under Linden's high chair.

Jake makes a impromptu visit

The Mix family is known for "popping in" and Jake has picked that up beautifully! He called Wednesday am and said he was leaving San Fran in a few hours and headed our way- PERFECT! It was really great to see him and Linden lite up when she saw him- it was really cute. It was really nice to have a family visitor- since Brett was recovering from his knee surgery and we were just hanging out at home anyway! Thanks for the visit- stop by anytime Uncle Jake!

"let me outta here!"

We were playing with Linden in her room yesterday am and her and Bruno took a little seat in the window- Brett ran around to get the shots. It was really cute- like two peas in a pod watching the neighborhood!
As you can see Linden loves the screen on her face!

Got Hike?

We got a backpack traveler for Linden so we can do some hiking in the beautiful trails around our place. We went out a few weeks ago and she loved the new pack- it's like she's on a horse; Daddy!
We headed out to a new trail today- Linden had a great time and she fell asleep in here by the time we made it back to the car. We stopped and had some lunch after our hour long hike- the trails here are beautiful and nature filled- we even saw some deer in the woods and lizards on the trail.

Look at my toothbrushing skills!

Linden started brushing her teeth this week. She seems to like watching Mama and Daddy brush their teeth and now she can brush her own! We're sure the dentist will be impressed!

Paper Flowers

Laura made these paper flowers for Linden's Birthday Party and we've enjoyed looking at them as if they are fresh!

Montara Beach daytrip

We took a daytrip to Montara State Beach- typed it into our new GPS in the new car and headed to the beach. It's in between Half Moon Bay and Pacifica- about 45 minutes away.
Linden was a little explorer and enjoied herself while watching the waves. She was standing on her own- see photos. She likes the sand in her toes, too!
You can see how much we like to entertain her by flying in the air- she can't get enough- what a big smile! She also likes it when Mommy jumps over her- good thing Laura ran hurdles in High School! Hahaha!
