Happy Halloween!

Linden was allready to be a butterfly and then she started telling everyone last week that she was going to be a pumpkin! So we scratched the butterfly and ran to Jo-Ann's Fabric! She really wanted to be a pumpkin!

hand made pumpkin costume.....$3.41 and an hour with the sewing machine, gotta love that Martha!

"Hey, there's pumpkins on my legs!"

At the Marin Farmer's market, where we hooked up with Joe's cousin.

Julie is in the mix!

"Uncle Joe is Silly!"

Joe and Karen came to town on Friday and we "escaped" (Linden was with our Nanny) to Napa for the night. We went up early Sat am and had some WONDERFUL champagne by 10:30am! We went to some lovely wineries and had dinner at a fantastic restaurant "25 degrees Brix" in Napa. Stayed at a place called "The Nest" and had a fantastic time!
Headed home on Sunday, stopping at the Marin Farmer's Market and was home in time for Julie to get into town! We had pizza in the backyard and played charades until midnight. It was such a fantastic tome and I love and miss my friends from Chicago now, even more!

Half Moon Bay 10K

running along- Brett caught me before the finish turn- it was motivation to see them at the finish!

My partner in crime, Kelley. I call her my "running bitch", but we motivated each other to the finish!

We stopped in HMB to pick out a pumpkin to carve for Linden. She liked the Martha Stewart pumpkins- hmmmm, I wonder where she gets that???

She was tired after picking out a pumpkin. Wait a second- WHO just ran a 10K???

This is us LAST YEAR in HMB picking out a pumpkin! WOW-how time flies!

My friend, Kelley and I ran the 10k this am in Half Moon Bay- if you remember, I ran it last year. It is such a beautiful run on the coast, I decided to do it again. Mind you I ran it about 10 minutes faster than last year!

pumpkin patch

we went to a pumpkin patch with Linden's school on Sat., or maybe it was just a bounce house bananza with some pumpkins??? It was really fun for Linden and stressful for us- we kept thinking she was going to get toppled over by another kid, but there were no casualities. Linden got to pick out a pumpkin for class and spend a 1/2 an hour on the bounce house- too much fun!

yes, more pics of Lindy

So maybe I am feeling guilty because I did not have time to take Linden's 25th month photo, or maybe we had a "no-plans wednesday"or maybe it was the facy that I rented this adorable little chair and I have to return it tomorrow....either way, I now have her 25.5 month pics!

Photos from Kendall and Gillian's shoot

I have the fabulous opportunity to photograph Kendall and Gillian before we left for AZ, here are a few outtakes- these girls are soo adorable and well behaved. Who cares that we had to bribe Kendall with Skittles???

A trip to Scotsdale to see The Barrette's

Sophia with her Uncle Hammy!

On the teeter-totter

These girls know how to have FUN!
(note: the matching smoking sweatshirts!)

We went to a horse ranch to pick out a pumpkin. Since Linden LOVES horses, we thought she would be soo excited to ride one! But no-go! She did NOT want to ride the horses! Pretty funny stuff- so she watch Sophia ride a horsie!

"I don't like horsie Mommy!"

Feeding the goats.....

This donkey was very hungry- so hungry, he nibbled on linden's fingers when they were feeding them!

In the hay-maze; "c'mon Linden, this way!"

Uncle Craig being silly!

Hang on!

The girls picked out their pumpkins!

After the ranch we put together the Jumpy house at The Barrettes- the girls had a ball- and so did their Daddies!

In the pool!

We had such a wonderful time in AZ and it was soo great to see the Barrette's. Sophia is a beautiful little girl and they had a lot of fun together! Thanks for the hospitality! We'll be back!
