Lunch with the Mamas

For Laura's Birthday, it was BEAUTIFUL outside! We had lunch at Pluto's at Santana Row (like Zoom Kitchen for the Chicago Folk!) It was just great- had lunch with the Mamas- amazing group of girls; Cat, Whitney and Kara! Thanks for the birthday lunch-OUTSIDE!! It was a first on Laura's birthday! PS- Looks like Linden knows how to use a straw! Pretty advanced! Hahaha!

Happy 6 Months!

Linden turns 6 months today! She is getting so big, too! We've been having a great time lately and cannot believe that she's 1/2 a year! Time flies when you are having fun, huh??
Linden got her new highchair last week and we started practicing with the spoon! She opens her mouth when she sees the spoon- smart girl! We're looking forward to many family dinners around the table now- as Linden will be starting "solids" this week!

A weekend in Sonoma Wine Counrty

We went to Sonoma, CA for the weekend with some friends; Rob and Cathy, with their son Jake, and Dan and Jen, who is due in just 6 weeks! We rented a beautiful house in Sonoma and went to a handful of wineries in the area. We had a fantastic time and Linden was great all weekend- she must like wine country! We got rained on most of the day Saturday and Sunday the sun was out and shining- truly a beautiful place. We picked up five new bottles and can't wait to open them for a special occasion.

Super Bowl Sunday

We had some friends over on Sunday for the Super Bowl, including 3 babies and two pregnant mamas! It was a babyfest! Laura made yummy White Chicken Chili and we had a fantastic times with friends! It was about 70 degrees and sunny, and sure enough, we were inside watching the game....

Mom's group

Friday we met at Cat's for our weekly "mom's group"- we decided to ditch the hospital! The babies had a great time together and Linden tried to show off her "tripod" stance. We had a birthday cake for Jen and me- my fellow Aquarian! It's so fun to see all the babies together- Linden, Jake, Sydney and Avery.
