backyardigans
Sunday evening seems to become our little family night. We usually make a pizza and hang out in the yard. Brett has started to show Linden how to use her new pink soccer ball- it's an absolute joy to watch him with her. It's been a really great way to wrap up the week/end and start a new.
Nana is coming on Tuesday-we're looking forward to her time out here! It's also another pleasure to see. So tune in for some pics!

Our LA trip
Brett had a confrence in LA, at Disneyland so we tagged along for the week- we went to Newport beach and went up to visit with the Gilles'. It was a great time and Linden loved the sand at the beach- as you can see. We went to the set of American Inventor- which Uncle John is working on. We also took a tour of the fabric district with Aunt Heidi ( grammy! HaHa Ha!)- had a great time!

Just goofing around the house
Linden is just such a little goofball- she loves putting the big pieces of tupperware on her head and giggles when she pulls it off! So darn cute!
She has a new best friend....ELMO! She has been drawn to Elmo because some of her books are Seaseme Street and Elmo has been a favorite for a while. She has a giant Elmo stuffed animal that makes her light up when we say "where's Elmo?"
She is just such a little sassy pants- literally! Her wardrobe is expanding with her waistline and we've found some really cute pants these days.

Toys invade the Hamilton's
It finally happened, we broke down and out toys in our house. As much as we wanted our house to stay "adult", Linden needed some toys to play with. Everytime we would go to other people's houses, she would have soo much fun with the toys- it's a sight to be seen!
We got her an activity table and a wooden push toy. She has not figured out how to walk by herself with it- but she loves the alligators on it-they chomp when she walks!

4th of July in Minneapolis, MN
We headed off to Minneapolis on the 3rd, and after traveling for roughly 12 hours, we were finally there- thank you for the 5 hour delay! We meet up with Uncle Eric and
Jan and Tom once we were there. It was fun to have all the Hamilton's together again- it had been too long!
GAD finally got to meet Linden and she was in love. Linden got to carry around "flat Dede" (children's book, "Flat Stanley") all weekend throughout her adventures- not the same as the real Dede! It was so nice to have the two of them meet!
We also grabbed lunch with Tom's daughter and parents before wandering through downtown Edina.
Linden did great with the fireworks- slept right through them! We had fun with the sparklers as you can see. We even got to stop by the Jones'- Stacy is towards the end of her 3rd pregnancy and looks fantastic! Three girls running around and they are looking forward to the arrival of their brother soon!
Happy Birthday America!
