Linden loves the sand and water soo much Brett and I are trying to figure out how to make it happen everyday! We love getting out of our normal routine and going to the beach! Thanks Ann and Maurice for the Seascape place- it was such a great last minute, last chance getaway before the baby comes! So wonderful and makes us love California that much more!

Rewind!

So here are some pics from the last couple weeks- without my Mac, I was lost- and so were YOU! Here's a photographic recap!

We went to the beach on Wednesday night and spent the night at Seascape- it was the most beautiful warm weather for the coast! My computer's hard drive failed last week and I am just catching up! More pics to come!

Ellie's Birthday party

We went to Ellie's birthday party today, it was an "under the sea" theme. So cute!! Linden had her mermaid dress on and got her back painted!! She loves the "face painting" lady!! Linden made a treasure box and got to "fish" in the wading pool. We are hooked on the birthday party circut these days!

Lauren's birthday party

We went to Lauren's 3rd birthday party today, there was a face painter and jumpy house!! So fun! And then Lauren and Linden asked to take a bath together!! Very fun!

Brett went to the SF Giants game tonite, so Linden and Mommy had a nice "girls nite". We went to the mall, did some shopping, grabbed Mexican for dinner and then Linden asked for an "ice cream cone"! It was a perfect date night!!

Happy Fourth of July!

We were in the Menlo Park parade today and went to the festivities afterwards. It was so much fun, there were bounce houses, face painting and a band! All American!
Linden got a face full of red, white and blue hearts, per her request! She sat so still, for the same lady that painted her face last year!

It's been pretty hot this weekend! We decided to take the train to burligame for dinner- the train is air conditioned!!!
We stopped for yogart first and hopped on the train. Walked around and did some shopping and had pizza and took the train home. It was a fun-filled day!

We had such a great time at this show, the venue is a winery that overlooks the Valley. It was fun to get away for the night and hear Brett's favorite band!

Swimming in the pool with out anyone holding her!

She looks like a little sea otter! Hanging on to the side of the pool, waiting her turn to swim to Colin all by herself!

Magic carpet ride- Linden's favorite part of swimming!

Linden has swimming lessons this semester by herself- no Mommy in the pool with her! The first week, it was a disaster- she cried almost the entire time! But this week was FANTASTIC- she did everything Teacher Colin wanted her to do- even swimming by herself- to and from him. She loves putting her face in the water and counting to 3 to do the "balloon face"!! What a difference!

Music in the park

We went to see Andy Z tonite at music in the park! Linden had so much fun singing and dancing with her friends, Shea and Corrine. We packed some dinner and hung out for some great kids music.

Happy Father's Day

We got up this am and Linden said "Happy Father's Day!" without even being reminded! We hung out in our jammies after Daddy took Uncle Brian to the airport for an early flight. We opened gifts and had french toast.
Then we headed to the Menlo Park farmer's market to pick up some fresh ingriedients for chicken dinner tonight! It's going to be a great day!

One of my friends in the neighborhood, hosted a paella party at her house on Saturday evening- it was sooo much fun! There was a 4 foot dish filled with paella and we had a fantastic time with friends and neighbors! The sangria was flowing and the setting was great!
