Linden's new secrect room

We put a crib matress on the floor in Linden's closet- she loves it in there! It's like a secrect room because there is her bar of clothes and then it is behind there- so you have to peek through the clothes and squeeze in!

Easter Petting Zoo

We went over to Stanford Shopping Center today for their Eggstravaganza!!!! It was so much fun- but now Linden thinks we spend Easter at the Mall!;) opps! They had a cute petting zoo- she loves the ducks!!

The Screamer

So there was a meeting over coffee with the superindendant of Menlo Park schools this morning at our neighborhood cafe. I, very hesitantly, took Thatcher to the meeting thinking I could occupy him while I listened to what the Superindendant had to say. I was the only one with a child there- that was the first sign! And Thatcher was fine until about 10 minutes into it- he wanted out of the stroller. "Okay, I will take you out and hold you, if you'll be quiet", I thought.
Nope- he was squaking and mumbling and making grunting noises like we came from the zoo or something! I ammused the noise for all I could and then started pulling baby items from my reserve- the bouncing deer, the squeeky panda, a spoon, my keys, the coffee insulator from my drink, I was running out of things when Thatcher proceeded to spit up all down my right leg and INTO my shoe! Nice shot little guy. When a mom next to me gasped, I knew I had to exit. Spit up sliding downto my toes through my Boden loafers, wow!! It was embarassing and I now know that I will not be serving on the PTO board anytime soon!
Please be a phase Thatcher- I am not sure how to function with a cute little monkey- boy to apologize for all day!



It's a good thing he's so darn cute!

Dinner at the Hightower's

Eva and Linden play so well together and they have loads of fun! We are going to miss them so much when they move to Michigan this summer to begin Billy's new job! Here's a pic of Baby Claire too- she's adorable! I love all that hair!

Our Little Gardner

Hammy thinks she is a good "digger" from her practice with the snow in Chicago! We are planting our tomatoes and new rosemary bushes today. It's springtime here and SNOWING in Chicago!!

Lunch with the girls

Linden and I went out to Danville today- where the Casey's moved. It was great to see them again- it's been too long! I could not believe how BIG Kendall was!! Omg- We went downtown Danville and walked around and had lunch. We miss them! Linden wanted to know if Avery could meet us at a merry-go-round next time!!;)

Bathroom redo

While we ( I mean Laura) has been working on changing up the bathroom- Linden kept saying, "Nana's going to love her new bathroom!" Since when she is here, she uses that bathroom. ;)
It's been a nice change from that old getto mirror that was there when we bought the house. I drywalled, wallpapered and worked on the bathroom while the kids napped. I kept txting Brett telling him that I was Superwoman. It looks so clean and fresh- I like it!!!


And Thatcher likes it too!
