Christmas Visits in Chicago!
Laura and Linden went to Chicago about 5 days before Brett joined. We made our rounds and had a chance to see a lot of friends that had yet to meet Linden. Nana welcomed Linden with her first snow suit, hat and mittens! Unfortunately it did not snow, but we had to bundle her up for sure!
Linden finally met her friend Madeline and Aunt Nicole- we had the same due date and were preggos together! Linden had a great time visiting with Madeline and having lunch with the ladies!
Linden met her Auntie Kelly at Charlie's Ale house, and her Auntie Karen and Auntie Jill the very next day at Karen's place in the city. Then we went to lunch with the ladies that Laura used to work with at Ambrosi, went to see the old house on Pearson and found out that both our old neighbors are pregnant and expecting in the spring! What a great place with wonderful memories.
On Wednesday we headed downtown again to join Daddy at the Hotel Papedis- where she met her friend Chloe and her "Godfather" Uncle Mike and Aunt Sally. We had a great time with the Papedises and it made us miss living in the city terribly! We went to lunch with Grandpa Hamilton at Club Lucky- thanks for the t-shirts Grandpa! Then it was off to Marshall Field's (Macy's) on State Street- we had to show Linden where Mommy and Daddy met! See the pics by the giant tree!
It was off to dinner with our closest friends! Linden was a trooper being passed around the dinner table twice and then taking a nap while we ate dinner! It was almost as if she knew that we were there to catch up with everyone! It was so magical to see everyone and have Linden there!
Before we headed to the Grandparents in the burbs, we met up with Auntie Sheri and saw Linden's 2nd cousins, Rachel and Jake. It was a great time in the city and we loved it dearly!
