Let me start by saying Thank you to all of you who sent gifts and birthday wishes to Linden on her very special first birthday. We celebrated the afternoon with a Fiesta filled with Corona's, Margaritas and a taco bar with some lovely festive "salsa musica" in the background.
It was so very special for us to celebrate with our friends and loved ones. It means the world having great friends nearby that can celebrate in style. Thanks so much for all the love and support throughout the past year. "It takes a village"...
Oh yeah- and the cupcakes were a hit- Linden has found a new talent we had no idea about- "speed cupcake eating". She had the most determined face while devouring her pink birthday cupcake- it was a sight to be seen!

A Birthday Splash

As we all know- Linden LOVES to swim, and what a better day to go for a dip, but her birthday! We took her over to the pool for a birthday swim and splash. We had a really fantastic time and she showed Dada how she dives into the water on the count of three and swims underwater! It was really cute to see her soo excited.

Good Morning- I am ONE!

We woke Linden up with a balloon and some gifts to open on her birthday morning! It was really fun making the morning special- I think she new something was definatley different! AND- Elmo cards apparently get her really excited in the am! thanks GAD and Auntie Heather!

A fun filled weekend!

Saturday afternoon:
Here are pics from Avery's first Birthday! We had a great time! It was so fun to see all of Linden's friends together! Avery was a beautiful birthday girl- and very gracious to share her toys with all the other babes!









FRIDAY NITE:
I surprised Brett with tix to see Wilco- our fav Chicago band- at the Greek theater in Berkley on Friday. We celebrated an entire year with Linden and our new lives in California. We had a really great time and brought home a cute wilco onesie for Miss Linden. Here are some pics of her sporting her concert t shirt with Dada- note his new Wilco duds too!

Here's Linden opening her first birthday gift- from the Johnson's. Heather called and said we should open it right away- so Linden got right down to it- she liked the tissue paper, but the "birthday pj's" were even better!
Linden is going to wear her birthday pj's all weekend! You can see how happy she is in them!

7 days and counting......

Linden was thinking, "Here comes the tide dada- pick me up!"
Can you tell she loves the sand?? She was picking up BIG clumps of it and throwing it in the air.

Linden will be turning ONE next week and we are eagerly annticipating her birthday! We decided to drive over to the beach for a little picnic and sunshine today. Half Moon Bay is only 45 minutes away from our house! Linden loves the ocean- but there was no getting wet- it was a chilly 65 degrees! The sun was out and we had a blast!
