I went to the Alameda Flea Market this morning and walked around all by myself finding wonderful treasures down every aisle....it was amazeballs.
I picked up this little reflex 2 and a quarter camera to play around with.

Fun times with Grammy

Grammy Jan came to visit this weekend- what fun! The kids were so excited to spend time with her and we are thrilled for L & T to be making memories with their Grammy! Thanks for coming Grammy!

PS- This is shot near the bay in Redwood City Port...looks like a faraway place, but it's minutes from Menlo Park!

Nana + Papa = timeless memories

Grandparents trip

We headed for Chicago at 5:00am via San Jose Airport, this after Mom was on three hours of sleep from her photography trip to Denver.....more on that later.....

Lu and Thatch were so excited to see Nana and Papa and "can we ride Nana's tractor?" was asked on the 5 hour plane trip about 500 times. It was great- we hung out with family and tried to just chill and take a vacation. 

We went to Lake Geneva, WI and hung by the lake for a few days- Linden got into the lake and had a great time with Emery, Eric and Melissa's dog ( her new best friend).

Looking forward to many more vacations with family for years to come.

Linden was SO excited about Disneyland. It was a magical trip and seeing her sheer excitement and wonder was worth all the hordes of people. She loved the charcter breakfast and the rides, oh the rides.....Space Mountain was her fav and she wanted to do Tower of Terror- and I didn't. That pic is coming soon....

We had a great time and I know she will remember it FOREVER! Which makes ME happy!

Happy Birthday little man

Three years ago Thatcher John came screaming into this world, what a wonderful gift he is in our lives! We love him with everything we have and cannot imagine life without all the energy he brings everyday! What fun we will have at 3!

 Now, after opening a few more gifts today- this kid is SPOILED!!!!!! He is going to have hours  and hours of truck play!

where does the time go???

six going on sixteen

Linden is almost 6 and all I keep hearing is "I'm five and three quarters.....do you know what that means???"

I'm kinda scared to find out what that means. Our little girl is growing up and first grade is right around the corner....where did the past 6 years go?? This time 6 years ago we were moving from Chicago with Lindy in my tummy, about to change our lives forever. It was such a wonderful time and all the heartache about leaving Chicago was well worth it. The love we have for Linden ( and Thatcher) now is amazing. I wanna soak up every last minute of this soon to be six year old!

my cousin got married in vegas in June, Nana and I went to the wedding....clearly we had a blast with everyone. this is just how NUTS my realitives are- no ways around it.

where the heck have we been????

It's been a long spring into summer and now here we are past the 4th of July and into planning for August....OYE VAY!

Got a lill locked out of the blog, but we are BACK baby! Linden wrapped up kindergarten and we are doing summer camp and prepping little Thatch...who, by the way, is NOT so little anymore...for preschool that starts in the fall.

I'll fallow up this week with some photos from April till now, but for now, here are 4th pics and we just got back from the beach today! So, yes, yes, wipe your tears of joy that Hammy time is back and get on with your beautiful day! As I say,
