Christmas in Chicago

Salerno Family Christmas 2009

Now a silly one- a Salerno Family tradition for years.....even Linden knew what to do!

Brett reading Fancy Nancy to Chloe and Linden

Our "Little Bro"

Foreshame- I am actually reading a Iowa Hawkeyes book!!!

Linden in her winter Hello Kitty jacket- she loved wearing the scarf! This pic was taken in our old neighborhood in Chicago- on Wabansia Ave!

Proud Papa and Nana!

Knolly and Linden were best buddies!

Uncle Matt!

Tickle monster with Uncle Matt- Linden had lots of fun with him!

Brett says that shoveling snow is in her genes- she loved skooting the snow around and making piles with Papa and Brett. She even got to get on Papa's John Deere and plow through the snow!

Winter kiddo!

Linden was one of the guys out there- shoveling away
!

Linden, Thatcher and Lincoln- they are 2nd cousins- only 4 days apart!

Aunt Julie's homemade cheesecake!

It was actually snowing this much!!!

Nana, Thatcher and Linden on Christmas morning. This was Thatcher's "Wood chopping" shirt- he looked like a lumberjack!

Home for the Holidays! It was a long trip filled with sheer craziness, but I cannot image it any other way..... It was nuts, but in a good way, sorta. Thatcher did not poop for 4 days and was in agony trying to poop, which made for many consecuitive sleepless nights-ouch!
All in all it was good to be home for Christmas, we love Chicago!
